All dressed in blue
In reverence, I tread this path
Through the budding trees
In search of your beautiful hue
My heart is alight
For all that is new
To be in your presence
And commune, once again with you
Every time is different
Yet, every time is the same
Your steadfast love
And magical fae
I glimpse you through
A young family of trees
I pause for a moment
Inhaling deeply
The crisp springtime breeze
Then rounding the corner
I drop to my knees!
As your sight leaves me breathless
And tingling inside
Your beauty, your spirit and devotional ties
Your trumpets they nod
In your carpet of blue
Flashes of emerald, the Faes dancing too
And the air, she is wearing
Her crisp cloak of cool
Yet the sunlight
Is lovingly warming her through
We dance with each other in the spirit of love
As the birds watch on from their perch high above
We celebrate this life
And the birthing of new
Humility and grace
In the healing
Of nature’s beautiful space
And I pause for a moment
To capture this sight
To bottle it up and hold onto to it tight
And I wonder, if nature is watching us too
Is she smiling as wide
For me and for you
Is she watching her children
Dance her springtime renewal
As her carpet of trumpets
Bow in reverence and grace
As her people commune
And heal in her space
Does she gaze upon us
With her heart filled anew
In awe and wonder
At her beautiful endless
Carpet of blue
