During an afternoon walk today in the crisp and bright winter air, I took the opportunity to reflect on my connection with Mother Earth.

My connection with nature is deep and strong, yet, as I was walking, I found a different layer to this relationship with Mother Earth emerging; each footstep reminded me of how she cradles me throughout my life, how she constantly supports me, every single moment of my life, here in this body, in this lifetime. Not for a single moment does she withdraw her support, her holding, her love.

Mother Earth gives to me freely, without expectation, yet my consciousness of her love and grace for me, affords me the most beautiful relationship with her, and the bond grows ever deeper.
🌍
I am held so beautifully by The Mother, that my trust in her runs as deeply as the roots of our beloved trees, woven into her earthly core, entrenched in her layers.
🌍
In this moment, realisation of my absolute safety is defined in a new way, it is as if I am reborn as I see with clarity through the lense of unconditional safety and security and love and holding.
🌍
Overflowing with gratitude and love, I energetically wrap my arms around our beautiful Mother Earth, knowing deep in my core that I am always safe, always held, always loved. 🌍🙏

Today we enter the month where we dedicate a day to celebrate Love ❤
I invite you to take a moment to look inward, to see and feel and know the Love within, for our very essence is Love.
Our entire being has the capacity to live from a place of Love, moment to moment.
When we choose to allow this breathtaking energy to flow through us, we create a beautiful world; for ourselves, for our loved ones, for the entire planet.
So, let us open our hearts to Love; to Give Love, to Receive Love and to Be Love.
Let us celebrate Love each and every day of the year.

Feeling the pull of outside, for the beautiful ‘energy balancing’ that nature always brings me, I set out on a Sunday afternoon walk. Turning a corner in the park, I witnessed our beautiful sun, like a ball of glorious red and orange fire, as it dipped from sight on the horizon, turning the sky a pastel palette of pinks and oranges, with a firey light behind the clouds. Stopping to drink in this sight, I stilled myself and smiled with such gratitude of this treat.
I continued my walk, absorbed in my sea of thoughts as the light rapidly faded. I glanced up and my breath caught at the most amazing sight. There she was, big and bright and full, shining down on me, lighting my steps home.
I will never tire of these visions, these gifts, the wonder that is our planet.

Oh how much do I love thee, let me count the ways….

There was a time when I would read that hugging trees was good for our wellbeing…yet I would skip on by, knowing the trees were there, yet not really ‘knowing’, not really ‘understanding’, not really ‘seeing’, not really ‘connecting’….until, the beauty and grace of enlightenment flooded my entire being.
🌳
And so, my love affair with trees was born. I began to sense, to see, to hear, to feel and to know, deep within my core and with such beauty, that it took my breath away.
🌳
The trees became my confidantes, as I shared my inner most secrets, and in turn they bestowed upon me their incredible wisdom.
🌳
These enduring and majestic beings have seen so much that came before us, and will surely see so much that will follow us. They have witnessed that which we cannot imagine, yet they continue to gift us with all that they are, as they weave their beautiful rich tapestry rooted deep within Mother Earth.
🌳
Soaring into the blue of the sky on a summer’s day, shimmering their emerald protective canopy of leaves, like a butterfly on the breeze. Yet when stripped bare of their canopy on a winter’s day, their magnificence is of equal measure.
🌳
Opening my heart, I see through the eyes of my soul and I see a world of colour, glorious colour, texture, depth and wonder. My entire being is an endless well of love and compassion and tenderness and gratitude, for myself, for the world, for all those around me.
🌳
As I take a walk amongst the trees, I break into the biggest grin and giggle as I skip round their trunks, knowing, understanding, seeing, connecting, awaiting my invitation to my rest my head against their intricate bark and stretch my arms round them.
🌳
As I hear the lifeforce rushing deep inside the trunk, I close my eyes, breathing deeply, I am at one with the trees, at one with Mother Earth, at one with my soul.

And so it is 🙏

As the sun started to set for the last time in 2018, natures call to me was strong.

Responding to the call, I went for a walk to my beloved park. Inhaling the cool afternoon air, it felt so good to be outside again, dusk bringing forth a sense of magic to the moment.

I stood by the lake in the twilight, watching the ripples of silky water, each present just for a moment in time; here then gone, in the blink of the eye.
💗
Gazing into the stillness of the water, I reflect upon the year – breathing deeply, I close my eyes and allow the kaleidoscope of 2018 images to flood my vision.
💗
Here, in this moment I celebrate all that has been; a year of allowing my soul to lead and of beautiful trust in my path, has gifted me with many blessings.
🙏
I bathe in these images and allow the gratitude accompanying them to wash over my entire being.
🙏
There is peace in my core and like the glorious trees, I feel rooted, grounded, solid and sure in all that I am.
🙏
My soul sighs a whisper of contentment with how I have embraced and accepted, allowing myself to bloom.
🌺
Exhaling, I give thanks for all that I am, all that I have and all that has been. And as I release, the closing energy of 2018 sparkles into the night, like glistening droplets of snow floating in the indigo sky.

With my heart full of hope of what is to come, I open my arms wide and draw in the energy of 2019. I am ready!

I give thanks for this beautiful energy, for the anticipation of all that is yet to come, and my soul sings with all that I am becoming.

The Festive Season can be bitter sweet for many of us, as the depth of sadness in missing loved ones that have passed, is heightened.  Yet at the same time we are carried along in the festive spirit, in celebrating Christmas joy with loved ones that are with us here, now.

In those bitter sweet moments, I invite you to still your mind, breathe deeply, look up at the beauty of the night sky, and let yourself be reminded of your soul connection with all your loved ones. Feel the beautiful soul energy flowing through your entire being, and know, that your loved ones are always near.

Kindness lifts us all in such beautiful ways, regardless of whether we are giving or receiving.

Those receiving kindness feel valued, loved, acknowledged, cherished.

Those acting in kindness feel lighter, better, brighter, because when we act with kindness, we are acting in our truth, we are leading from our heart.

In this month of festivities, we can easily get lost in our heads with rushing and organising.

I invite you to stop for a moment. Breathe deep from your heart to reconnect with your true self, your soul self – let your unique and beautiful light wash over your entire being. Now enjoy the beauty of showering others with your kindness, your truth. Be so free with your kindness that it sparkles like confetti on the breeze, and as you do, feel your heart bloom with absolute joy. And so it is.

And so, we enter a month adorned with the beauty of fairy lights, with sparkle, with cheer, goodwill and hope for better things to come. 🔆

A month where we seem more comfortable in opening our hearts and sharing our love for each other. In the opening of our hearts, we allow our own lights to shine brilliantly bright, connecting us in an endless string of human fairy lights. 🔆

Let’s open our hearts, but not just in this month, let’s create a human string of fairy lights every day. How beautiful would that be! 🔆

Today, on Thanksgiving day, I find my myself pausing to consider the vibrational energy of the words ‘Thanks’ and ‘Giving’. It crosses my mind how often we apply these words to others, yet we rarely apply them to ourselves.

We thank people every day, often it trips off the tongue automatically without any real thought – it’s what we know and recognise as a polite exchange of something positive between people. In fact, if we counted the number of times a day that we thank someone for something in one way shape or form, I think we would be surprised at the total count!

Yet, how many times a day do we personally give thanks for ourselves and our lives in general? Many of us find ourselves on auto pilot as we rush from one thing to the next, living from our mind, as we try to keep up with the pace of life. Maybe, just maybe, if we paused a little more, took the time to live from the heart, being consciously thankful for our lives, we would experience greater overall joy.

🙏Giving
How wonderful it is to see a loved one light up when they open a present from us, or when we pay them a compliment, or when we smile at them! We love giving to each other and when this exchange happens, we all shine much brighter!

Yet, how often do we give to ourselves? How often do we truly focus on tending to our own needs? In the hectic lives that we lead, it is not uncommon for us to feel that taking time out to give to ourselves, is an act of self indulgence, therefore this gets pushed to the bottom of the list, but we never reach the bottom of the list, as more and more comes in that takes priority. Maybe, just maybe, if we paused a little more, took the time to live from the heart, to nurture ourselves, to love ourselves, to give to ourselves, we would experience greater overall joy.

I invite you on this Thanksgiving day to pause for a moment and choose….
💟Choose to consciously live from the heart.
💟 Choose to nurture and love yourself, just as you would the most precious jewel.
💟 Choose to give thanks for your entire being – for all that you are, for all that you have, and for all that you are becoming.
💟Choose to experience great joy.

And so it is.
