As the night falls in for the last time this decade and the birds sing their last evening song of 2019
I take a walk in the brisk evening air
One of my special trees is my destination.

Arriving, and with his permission
I stretch my arms round him
Closing my eyes
Breathing in his healing
Breathing out my love and gratitude.

I rest against my beautiful tree
And connect with the stillness of the early evening
Closing my eyes I enter into a beautiful exchange
Of breath, with the trees, with the earth, with the universe
I give thanks for this special moment.

This is a magical time of evening, where the energies of the closing year, meet with the energies of the opening year.
There is always an air of excited expectation, yet tonight the magic is heightened with the closing and opening of a new decade.

In this moment of stillness, I bathe in the waters of reflection.
Allowing all that has come to pass, in this year, in this decade to wash over me.
A myriad of images, thoughts, feelings, moments, emotions and experiences swirl in my vision and my heart.

Some with great sadness, yet even in the darkest days of sadness eventually there was joy to be found.

Through the hollowing grief of loss, I was shown there remains an eternal light of connection. I was not alone. 

This light bought me comfort, hope, belief, and so much love.

For through this grief, I have truly found myself, found my soul and my visions turned to joy.

As I stand now, on the precipice of a new era
I open my heart and send sparkles of the light of gratitude out into the night.
Gratitude for my life, for all that has been, for my evolvement, and for all the love, guidance and support that is always with me.
I especially give thanks for my constant companion Mother Earth, for her wisdom, her love, her healing and her holding and nurturing of my soul.

As the energies of what has been, disappear into the night, I take a deep breath and with my heart and my arms open wide, I commit to this moment, I am ready!
Ready to fly into the new, into a new year, into a new decade, into a new era.

As I breathe in, I welcome the 2020 Aquarian energies as they swirl through my being with so much light, carrying me gracefully and lovingly into the new. And so it is.

I wish you all love and light and peace in your hearts, as we enjoy the energies of this new year, this new decade, this new Aquarian era.

As the afternoon light fades
I take a walk with Mother Earth
On this Winter Solstice Day

My footprints they squelch
In the earth mixed with rain
Her river banks swollen
As her waters rise so high
Her current rushing quickly
With the clouds of the sky

Breathing deep I marvel
At the rain soaked trees
In their bark winter coats
They shiver in the breeze

The distant hum of traffic
Seeps through the coolness of the day
Many a dog owner quickly looks away
As their canine friends
Race through the sodden muddy land
With such wild abandon
Just because they can!

The birds are singing their sweet lullaby
As a squirrel scampers high, so high
Chased by the muddied wild and free
The canines cannot get up the tree!

I stop for a moment resting by a tree
Embracing the pause for reflection
Just the Earth and Me

Sharing a breath with the Earth
My heart open wide
Gratitude and love
Are my souls contented sigh

With thanks I acknowledge
All that has come to me
For the abundance of my life
For all that has truly been
For the dreams that I dream
For the present of now
For all that is coming
My heart does allow

As my breath it swirls
In the early evening light
I release my burdens
And watch them take flight
Swirling and dancing
They fall to the ground
Dissolving like fragments
Of the faintest sound

I whisper to the Earth
And she answers with my name
Her song is my heartbeat
The sun through the rain
Together we bathe in universal light
As she holds me close
In the falling night
Her waters are flowing
They cradle me so
As she carries me gently
To the knowing of my soul
I am ready! I sing
Breathing out to the night
Leaving a trail of Solstice
Sparkles of light

The Blooming Heart

As the trees release their final leaves of the year, I have been drawn to create a healing circle for Mother Earth, with love and gratitude for all that she so selflessly gives us, for the wisdom and grace she showers upon us, for how she nurtures and nourishes us, and continually holds us, cradling us in her arms with such love.

As we give thanks to our Great Mother through this circle, her message is strong as we head into the winter months. She urges us to look at the trees, yet, do more than just look, really ‘see’ them, notice despite how exposed they are without their canopy of leaves, they stand tall, unafraid to show their strength, their truth and the beauty of their core.

Mother Earth encourages us to stand tall too, showing ourselves and our truth to the world, without fear, or resistance or the need to hide ourselves. Now is the time to allow our lights to really shine, to help heal the world.

Light streams from this circle, right from Earth’s crystal core, in her continuous love and healing, and as we breathe it in, let us give light back to our Great Mother, by committing to step forward and shine, to work with her, to heal our beautiful planet and to see her as the example of growth, of nurture, of courage and of love.

As you gaze upon the image, take a moment to connect with your heart and the heart of the Earth, giving thanks as you do, then allow yourself to absorb her loving healing light as you breathe in. And as you breathe out, send your own love and healing light out into the world, in doing this, we create momentum for a beautiful endless circle of giving and receiving.

The crystal in the centre represents Mother Earths crystal core. The lights surrounding the circle, represent the healing light we create for the world with Mother Earth, when we work with her from a space of love and light.

The Blooming Heart

Today we begin the celebrations of Diwali – the festival of lights.✨

How wonderful is it to consciously celebrate the lights in, and of our lives!

It is often so easy to get swamped in the darkness and difficulties that we face, so much so, that sometimes the light within us has no room to shine out. Yet even in these moments, our inner light never extinguishes, it keeps burning, patiently waiting for the moment when we will connect again, the moment when we choose to allow our light to shine.

When we consciously choose to allow our inner light to shine, we start to notice the beautiful light that surrounds us. The sun that constantly streams down, bathing our beautiful planet in light every day. The universe mirroring our own light, we start to notice the more we allow ourselves to shine, the more universal light floods into our lives.

We begin to see the light everywhere, in everyone and everything. What used to seem flat, lifeless and dull, becomes alive with light, from the rhythmical swaying of the leaves on the trees, to the diamond sparkles of light dancing on the ocean, to the light shining out of the eyes of those we love, to our own light when we catch a moment of our reflection.

Yes, light is everywhere, Always.
The most magnificent light is our own unique light, the light within us.

I invite you to consciously choose to shine, shine so brightly that in doing so, you light up the rest of the world.

Hello beautiful souls.

One of the ways I enjoy connecting deeply with Mother Earth, is through recognising the gifts she selflessly bestows upon us. When we look closely, every day, in so many ways, she is reaching out to us with her healing gifts of colour, of texture, of movement, of sound.

This land of mine
Raging with darkness
The savage winds, they tear me down
My eyes, they stream with the dust of mortal-ness
Like the whipping sands, of the desert storm

This darkness consumes me
Like the turbulent rapids
As they batter me down
I fall to my knees
Blindly crawling, I search for something
Anything I plead, anything but this!

Surrender!
Is the whisper
That roars through my being
Taking me with her, as I let it all go

My eyelids flutter, with the notion of sunlight
Glistening through my lashes
Like the early morning dew
This light, this golden
Surrounding my being
Permeating my bones, warming them through

As I peel my parched self
From the stillness of the earth
Seeing for the first time, in awe of the view
There is a certain beauty in this wilderness
This wild untamed land of uncertainty
This land of mine

Tentatively
I invite in, the beginnings
Of hope, of possibility
Of trust, of belief
Of love, of oneness
And my heart starts to bloom
As together, we navigate through the lands of time
Through the wilderness of my soul

Taking a quiet moment of gratitude with one of my beautiful trees…

My energy immediately shifts as I enter this wonderful space where many of these majestic beings reside.

Goose bumps pepper my skin and my entire being tingles with sensation, as our energies dance together, bringing forth the sense that we are one.

I rest upon the beauty of his intricate bark, breathing in every ounce of his essence. And as I rest, my heart opens to the grace of wisdom this wise soul gifts me.

In this deeply intimate moment, I stretch my arms round him as I breathe in his earthly scent, my hands delicately tracing his beautiful textured patterns.

It is in the beauty of these moments, I am reminded with absolute clarity – that I am as much of the earth as this beautiful soul.

With gratitude and love I release him, for now, and make my way back home. In the falling of the night, my steps slower, my being lighter, my senses stronger.

I look up to the indigo sky as the moon radiates her sparkling essence, showering me with light, reminding me too, that I am as much of the universe as I am of the earth.

And so, my day is complete.

As you rest in my embrace

To overflowing

Of surrender to my heart
Gently opening
As I catch the first glimpse of my
Shimmering soul

Sensation ripples through me
Like sparks of electricity
Igniting every cell
With the love of my soul

Oh! How long my soul has waited
For this glittering reunion

As the lifeforce of pure love
Washes through me

Musical note

Tentatively I sip
The wine of my soul

Love and compassion

My vibration at one with that of the earth
As I danced through my days, bathing in the sunlight
As I tiptoed through the night, shining with the stars

Light flew from my being
Like sparkles of sunlight
On the early morning dew
I twirled and danced
My essence into the Universe
Radiating my light in an endless
Stream of love

I saw life in everything

My senses whirling with energetic
Rhythms, dancing high, dancing low
All gloriously dancing with the wonderment of life

I was rooted with such strength
And sureness to the earth
Rising gracefully like the
Tallest tree reaching for the skies
My soul a beacon of light in motion
As I swayed in the afternoon breeze

In the beginning
I was open like a flower in bloom
Vibrant with colour, so much colour
I turned my face to the sun, and my light grew brighter
I bathed in the rain, and my petals opened further
I was drenched with love. So much love
