Lightness of Being

She floats around in the sunshine breeze
The spring time flowers swirl with confetti blossoms
As she dances from petal to petal, with the newly awakened bumble bees

She is shimmering; a suspended light of diamond particles
Reaching her arms out to the side, she watches herself shimmer, in awe!
Gazing at her creation of light
As her particles cluster and form to her delight, right up to the tips of her fingers
Waving her arms, watching her star dust take flight and resettle
As she dances her hands through the air
Her fingers kissing the breeze like those of a pianist in dance with piano keys

And the air, oh the air!
Everything feels sharper now
Taking on a clarity and meaning and depth like never before
And as she exhales, she releases diamond star dust into the ether
Like the pollen of a flower’s gentle sneeze

Perplexed, she whispers to herself
How did I not see this before? How did I not feel this before?
And to her surprise, the reply, her reply, is instant

Ah, let not waste time in the why of not knowing
You see it now, you feel it now, you know it now
Do not waste the beauty of now in looking back
For you cannot change that
Instead, feel into the moment you have
The beauty of every moment that belongs to exactly where you can meet it
Is of infinite beauty, exactly where you are, in any, given, moment
It has always been this way and always will be
All you have to do is meet it where you are
Each awareness gifts your stretching to meet it a little farther, wider, deeper, lighter
And the realisation that all you have, is, just a moment, and an eternity
And now you know, now you know

She wakes to the spring sunshine lighting up the room
Noticing the light differently, instinctively she opens her senses
Hearing the bird song and feeling the early morning breeze
As it whispers through the window and converses with the trees
She feels different, but cannot place the reason
And so she goes about her day, curious at this different sense of awareness

She spots a bumble bee hovering on the breeze, in search of flowers
And in that moment, a vision flashes before her and she is transported!
Even she couldn’t make up this scene
For her mind alone does not contain such knowing beyond the earth she stands on

Then like a key opening the door, memory floods her being
Images of star dust, flowers, bees and diamond light sparkling
And her entire being prickles with heightened awareness
As she experiences a sense of lightness like no other
And she knows, deep in her core she recognises that sense
Like it is everything

As she explores further this new sense of awareness
She recognises that she is stretching her knowing
Reaching out and embodying the energy of oneness
Meeting the moment exactly where it is, exactly where she is
And in this space she sees herself fall into arms of lightness of being
She is the arms and the arms are her, she is the flower, the bee, the breeze
The sunlight, the star dust, the cosmos, and they are her

And so, she continues her day
Feeling it all, for now, in this moment, and for eternity

Love, Always ❤️
